I am an American who has been to over 20 countries for travel and for work. Of all the countries I have visited, Japan was the special one that shined among all of them.
Perhaps it was the unique opportunity to work among the Japanese public and the Japanese government. Or maybe it was the beautiful scenery and the amazing food I discovered while exploring the country. Whatever it was, it the magic of Japan got me!
Bottom line is that traveling in Japan is fun but what is more fun is traveling Japan alone!
It takes an adventurous individual, family, or a group of friends to travel alone. You need courage, the ability to take risks, and the knowledge and skills to know your way around one of the most safest countries in the world. In return, you gain a lot of freedom, unique experiences, and the chance to make new friends.
